Tolcon Group is committed to the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment agenda of South Africa, and has made great strides towards the implementation of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment agenda as a corporate citizen.

Hijra Business Enterprises has been identified by Tolcon Group as an Enterprise Development beneficiary candidate to develop a South African based System Integrator capability with the Tolcon Group.

Hijra Business Enterprises is a Black Enterprise currently classified as an SMME that operates in the Information Technology industry. The company has been a 3rd party service provider to foreign owned System Integrators currently operating in South Africa.

Hijra Business Enterprises and Tolcon Group have united and formed a company called Scenivision where both parties are shareholders and have director representation. By pooling the skills and resources of both companies, Scenivision will be able to provide a comprehensive local system supply and integration solution in the traditional tolling industry.

Tolcon Group has contributed resources towards the development of this Black Enterprise SMME. This Enterprise Development relationship would enable the development of local skills and the transfer of knowledge and expertise necessary to develop a traditional tolling solution with South Africa roots.

Our People

In conjunction with our BBBEE partners, the Tolcon Group offers upliftment opportunities for local communities and encourages young ladies to join the Tolcon Group. We hope that the success and empowerment of our staff will set an example for all youngsters entering the workplace and encourage a belief and philosophy centred around education. We encourage all our employees to upskill themselves, thus creating a company of multi-skilled and ambitious staff, as well as establishing a new generation of South Africans who understand and value the importance of knowledge. If we can develop our people, especially woman, to be prepared for any opportunity, the Tolcon Group will have made another meaningful contribution to our society. We continue to develop an internal training capability, with a view to empowering our people, especially woman. We continue to expand this capability to include training/development/awareness interventions within local communities (often rural). By pursuing this avenue, hopefully more South Africans, especially woman, develop skills to be able to meaningfully contribute to the success of SA.

To date The Tolcon Group have developed in excess of 500 internal training/awareness interventions, which we ensure are professionally and practically used to upskill our people. In addition, The Tolcon Group embraces the upliftment of, inter alia, women, by committing funds and initiatives to deserving beneficiaries; inter alia:

Tolcon Group are committed to the upliftment of all South Africans. Special attention is focused on BBBEE as well as women development.
